A native of San Jose, Monique Nicolas joined Masoom Law Firm, PC as a legal assistant in mid-2023 marking an exciting new chapter in her career. Ms. Nicolas’s responsibilities include legal research and drafting legal documents. Ms. Nicolas’s prior experience includes working as a legal assistant in a personal injury law firm where she developed skills such as client communications and drafting correspondence documents. At one point, she managed 300 personal injury cases, keeping the files current while contributing to the firm’s 98% settlement rate; at the same time, she assisted in training new legal assistants in legal software and other necessary skills for a busy law firm. Previously, she spent three years with an e-commerce business where she oversaw and managed a team of 15 customer service representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. In that capacity she wrote training manuals for e-commerce accounts and day-to-day operations in customer service. By analyzing and improving metrics for e-commerce accounts, she increased revenue for her clients by a total of $1,500,000 a year. At Masoom Law Firm, PC her days are filled with tasks that demand precision, organization, and an understanding of intricate legal processes. She possesses a deep sense of ethics and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of the firm’s clients. In her free time, Ms. Nicolas enjoys hiking, traveling and exploring new topics through reading, and she is currently learning Turkish.
